Meet The Team

Rose Evans

Rose's lifelong interest in physical fitness led her to Slippery Rock University where she received a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Gerontology. She has held certifications from AFAA as a group fitness instructor, weight room and resistance training instructor and a NASM personal trainer. Rose recently received Personal Fitness Trainer Certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Upon graduating Rose began her career in cardiac rehabilitation which furthered her interest in the importance of pre and post-rehabilitative training and working with Baby Boomer and senior citizens.

Rose encourages her clients to continue exercising regardless of age. She stresses how important it is to never stop moving and how variety can keep your workouts interesting; take care of your health, but make it fun.

“Exercise doesn’t have to be a chore; it should be something you enjoy each and every time you do it. If you find activities you enjoy or find people you enjoy doing it with, exercise can become something you look forward to, naturally becoming a part of your lifestyle. I believe that little steps should be taken to implement change — rather than trying to do everything at once.”
